From climate resilience to healthcare, education to sustainable agriculture, our mission is to empower young minds to design and deploy AI systems that sustainable impact.
Backed by a global community of researchers, mentors, and partners, Youth in AI Lab offers deep technical workshops, innovation sprints, and sector-specific research. Through open collaboration, community-led research, and responsible AI practices, we are not only shaping talent pipelines and advancing youth employability, we are reimagining the future of AI from the ground up.

By using deep learning to segment liver ultrasound images, we are helping diagnose conditions like hepatitis, cirrhosis, and tumors. Designed for use in low-resource settings, this AI system supports frontline health workers with fast, accurate, and accessible diagnostic tools helping bridge the gap in specialist care across Africa.
Avocado farming is growing across Africa, yet fruit diseases continue to impact quality, yield, and market value. This project introduces a real-time, deep learning-based system designed to detect and classify avocado fruit diseases. The solution supports precision agriculture, early intervention, and smarter quality assurance across the avocado supply chain.
Making instant, accurate, and affordable mobile AI healthcare accessible to everyone, particularly rural and underserved communities where medical resources are scarce. This is made possible with an AI/ML diagnostics system, medical AI Agent for round the clock consultations and a doctor discovery system for accurate medical intervention.
Innovation thrives on collaboration, and we invite partners and researchers everywhere to join us. Companies and Institutions can co-sponsor workshops or share real world data challenges. Universities and research centers are welcome to co-develop curriculum or work on joint AI projects. Volunteers and mentors including AI research engineers and educators can guide research teams and deliver guest lectures.
